ramblings about some tw drama
don’t read until you’ve watched fated to love you.
they really shouldn’t have gotten married in the first place! the nainai shouldn’t have blackmailed him to marry her la. why liddat. fine, the mistake was made but why did they just aggravate that mistake? it’s not fair to either party. you can see that he really loves anna but is slowly falling in love with xinyi. which reminds me of the pm’s speech about matchmade indian couples gradually falling for each other. you always hear them say ai qing shi bu neng mian qiang de but it’s only if you make up your mind never to fall for that person. because you can really just love a friend, and end up caring for him or her for the rest of your life. there can be dedication without intense, passionate love, ever. this is really a blow to romantic idealists anywhere. no need to search for mr right la, just pick any guy off the streets and you can just make yourself fall for him.
why glorify love, when you know that people often find their “other halves” in places like schools, workplaces, and other areas where people go daily. most people have thought more than one person that mr right, and every time at that instant it feels so right. emotions cannot be trusted la can. why take a long time to find love when love is only a matter of whether you want to take that chance and chat up that guy sitting in the other booth. so many people have gotten married for much less. love is bloody overrated.
the nainai is almost 80 and still doesn’t know how to think. how can she force her grandson to be with xinyi?? when she knows that he loves anna and not xinyi. she’s really the one forcing xinyi to shou wei qu.
honestly i don’t see what’s the problem for anna. sure, it’s difficult to accept that her bf impregnated someone and even married her, but hey, he still loves her. he still loves her so freaking much. even the mistake of impregnating someone is because of her, even the marrying xinyi was to protect herself. now she doesn’t have to give up her figure or give up ballet to have children. but of course… now that cunxi has started to fall for xinyi… it’s really hard to say. fuck la why can’t men make up their minds they are bastards. dunno why he likes xinyi. you can’t blame her yes, she’s ridiculously wrapped up in this and obviously didn’t want to have this. sometimes i feel like her, an ugly duckling trying to get something a beautiful swan has. but anyway. i don’t see why cunxi should fall for her. sure she’s kind and tries to hide her suffering to alleviate some of his worries and problems but that’s really what everybody should fucking do. be considerate people. in a lot of circumstances you’re not the only victim sigh. argh i’m just generalising and this is a ramble don’t judge me. back to her. yea those are not grounds or reasons for him to love her, even if she does have his flesh and blood in her womb. marrying someone you don’t love out of wedlock is just plain stupid. which is more important, societal stares or lifelong happiness? you can’t just marry someone because you knock her up. it’s irresponsible and you’re making a bigger mistake than the actual knocking her up. i’m really disheartened by today’s societal viewpoints on marriage, so much so that i’m really kinda jaded. like isn’t it just a proclamation to society and the law and the world that you love this person and want to be with him/her all your life? then why are divorce rates going up? in actual fact it’s just a piece of paper. why are women suffering under the pretext of marriage? why do people have to give up so many things in order to be together?
sometimes it’s really hard to know what men are thinking. love is really inexplicable and irrational. i really like anna. she’s so beautiful, so talented, so perfect… not to mention he’s loved her so much to forgive her every time she stands him up. to let her pursue her dreams, to be okay even when she’s rejected his proposal so many times. how can he love her so much but in a twinkle of an eye fall for another woman? how can he claim to love her when he can give up on her so fast? as for xinyi, sure, she’s the protagonist but all she needs is someone to love her and to be nice to her. never try to steal someone else’s lover. so much for her being kind-hearted and an easy stepover. i really don’t like her. she’s suffering but annoying, she’s willing to step out of the way but doesn’t do it whole-heartedly enough, not cleanly enough. from the moment she stepped out of that abortion surgery i really don’t follow her character anymore. i mean yes if she had the abortion there’d be no story anymore la but still.
but i agree with the doctor that no child is an accident. i remember being involved in an internet squabble with a zi yi wei shi girl. ugh cannot stand those people. more about this in another post. i need more ideas on what to blog on =\ aiya need to blog more regularly, but don’t want to compromise on quality sigh.
only halfway through epi 11.. man i’m so hooked heheheh.
